The first line of approach in valuing workers’ health and safety is the development of new technology. Efforts are made to ensure that new equipment is maximally safe and new substances and raw materials are not harmful to workers’ health. We aim to eliminate noise, vibration, dust, and work in high places, which are key factors likely to cause occupational ailments.
Both collective and individual measures are adopted to protect workers from the effects of possible harmful factors. Workers are taught to work safely and are acquainted with the compulsory requirements of legislation in the field of occupational health and safety.

These efforts and our firm’s long-term work in this direction have enabled Snaigė to achieve an excellent result: over the past four years the firm has not recorded any serious accident or work-related illness.
